The film’s story unfolds to the mesmerizing lullaby melody,  “Dorme” (Sleep) by Zaba Moreau and singer/ poet/ songwriter, Arnaldo Antunes one of Brazil’s foremost modern composers and former lead and vocalist of Titas.

 

ARNALDO ANTUNES has been doing music, poetry, performances and interventions in other media since 1980 and has won many gold and platinum awards He has published five books.

 

In 1982 he founded the rock group Titans (Tităs) and performed with them until 1992. They released seven albums by Warner/Brazil, winning many gold and platinum L/P's.

 

In 1993, after leaving the Titans, he released NOME, a multimedia project developed from his poems and songs. The project includes a video, a book with a graphic version of its images and a CD.The CD contains the same music and sound poetry of the video soundtrack.

 

In 2003 the album “Tribalistas” won the triple platinum award in Brazil as well as platinum awards in Italy and Portugal.

 

Soon after,  he released his third CD O Silencio (The Silence), BMG-Ariola/Brasil.

 

His album A Curva da Cintura, a collaboration with Edgard Scandurra and Toumani Diabate from Mali was an immediate hit in the World Music Charts Europe in August 2012.
